Job description

Residential Elevators is looking for a CNC Brake Press Operator with experience in a steel shop environment to work full-time at least 40 hours a week at our Cairo, Georgia plant/warehouse. The Brake Press Operator will be responsible for using an electronically powered industrial machine to create, shape and customize metal materials.
Essential Duties Include:
• Perform typical press operations to produce materials according to specifications and on schedule
• Inspect the materials produced for quality and conformity; correct any inconsistencies
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
Skills & Abilities:
• Motor skills to operate multiple settings and levers that much be adjusted for each job and quickly manipulated through the steps of creating finished product
• Good analytical and mathematical skills to interpret drawings, templates, and blueprints
• Read gauges, tape measure, blueprints, and other measurement tools
