Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Power Platform Developer builds and maintains the low-code applications and integrations that extend ProCaps Laboratories' core systems. This role designs, builds, and supports applications on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse), creating a custom layer on top of Business Central with minimal technical debt.
A key responsibility is owning the end-to-end delivery of these applications, from the data model through the user interface and automation, and deploying them reliably through CI/CD pipelines and source control.
This position works cross-functionally with Business Intelligence, Finance, Quality, and Operations to deliver applications, integrations, and improvements that help teams get what they need quickly. As ProCaps adopts Tulip as its manufacturing execution system, the role also supports closely related low-code work on that platform. This is a highly execution-oriented, hands-on technical role within a regulated (cGMP) environment.
Requirements
WHAT YOU BRING (MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 3+ years building business applications on a low-code platform
  • Has built end-to-end applications on the Microsoft Power Platform with Power Apps, Power Fx, Dataverse (required), and Power Automate, from data model to user interface to automation
  • Microsoft Power Platform certification (PL-200 or PL-400), or equivalent proven hands-on Power Platform experience
  • Solid CI/CD and application lifecycle management for low-code, including a dev/test/prod environment strategy, automated solution deployment, and Git source control
  • Strong integration skills with REST and OData APIs, OAuth2, JSON, and webhooks
  • Able to extend low-code with pro-code where needed (JavaScript or TypeScript, SQL)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, regulated environment

Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
    • Experience on other low-code platforms such as Tulip, OutSystems, or Mendix
    • Experience in supplements, wellness, health products, or a regulated (cGMP / 21 CFR Part 11) environment
    • Azure (AZ-204) or DevOps (AZ-400) certification

Technical & Functional Skills
    • Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Fx)
    • Azure integration services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, API Management)
    • CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) and Git source control
    • REST and OData APIs, OAuth2, JSON, and webhooks
    • SQL and data modeling

Professional Skills
    • Strong attention to detail and organization
    • Excellent execution and follow-through
    • Strong communication and documentation skills
    • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
    • Proactive problem solver with a customer-first mindset
    • Comfortable working independently

WHAT YOU'LL DO (OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)
Application Development (Low-Code)
  • Build and extend end-to-end applications on the Microsoft Power Platform using Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Fx, Dataverse, and Power Automate
  • Design data models, user interfaces, and automated workflows that extend Business Central and support business processes
  • Build and maintain applications such as the qualified raw materials and approved supplier processes, tightly integrated with Business Central
  • Support closely related low-code work on Tulip as it is adopted as the manufacturing execution system

CI/CD & Deployment
  • Manage solutions across development, test, and production environments using Power Platform application lifecycle management
  • Build and run automated deployment pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) using the Power Platform Build Tools and CLI
  • Maintain Git-based source control of solutions and uphold release discipline and pipeline integrity

Integration & Data
  • Design and maintain integrations between systems using REST and OData APIs, OAuth2, JSON, and webhooks
  • Use connectors and middleware (Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps and Functions) to keep data in sync, with error handling and retries

Support & Collaboration
  • Provide day-to-day support for the applications and integrations this role builds, and document them clearly
  • Partner with the Business Central Analyst, the Business Intelligence Developer, and stakeholders to deliver requested features and improvements
