Your Impact

We are looking for a hands-on, results-driven Plant Manager to lead our Mebane, NC manufacturing facility. In this high-visibility role, you will drive operational excellence, lead Lean transformation, and play a key role in scaling production to support our continued growth.

You’ll be instrumental in building a high-performing culture, launching new production capabilities, and ensuring top-tier performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead day-to-day plant operations, ensuring alignment with production goals and customer commitments
  • Drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity (SQDCP)
  • Lead new product introductions, line startups, and facility expansion efforts
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing (VSM, Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, SMED, A3 problem solving)
  • Build and sustain a continuous improvement culture and Lean Daily Management System
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality teams
  • Develop and coach high-performing teams, fostering accountability and engagement
  • Use data and KPIs to drive performance, decision-making, and operational improvements

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including plant operations
  • Proven experience in plant startups, expansion, or scaling production
  • Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required (Black Belt preferred)
  • Experience in battery, electro-mechanical, or similar production environments is a plus
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
