Over de rol.

Ray is een Belgisch huidverzorgingsmerk, opgericht door apotheker Hilde Nys en haar zoon Thomas Kindermans. Wij ontwikkelen en produceren al onze formules volledig inhouse, met focus op veilige, effectieve huidverzorging. We kiezen bewust voor gecontroleerde en duurzame groei, met winkels en verkooppunten in België en Nederland.

Als Plant & Operations Manager ben jij de operationele rechterhand van de COO en de drijvende kracht achter onze productielocatie. Terwijl de COO de strategische koers uitzet, zorg jij dat de operationele “machine” elke dag vlekkeloos draait. Jij bent verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse werking binnen onze productiesite: van de tijdige inkoop van grondstoffen en productieplanning tot het warehousebeheer en facility.

Je bewaakt processen, zorgt voor structuur in ons ERP‑systeem (Odoo/SAP) en bent tegelijk een zichtbare en hands‑on leider op de werkvloer. Dankzij jouw aanpak loopt alles achter de schermen efficiënt, betrouwbaar en schaalbaar mee met de groei van Ray.

Productiebeheer & Planning
  • Vertalen van de voorraadbehoefte en prognoses naar een efficiënte week‑ en dagplanning.
  • Toezien op de voortgang en kwaliteit van het productieproces en bijsturen waar nodig.
  • Waarborgen dat er strikt gewerkt wordt volgens de hygiëne‑ en veiligheidsvoorschriften (GMP‑compliance).
Warehouse & Supply Chain
  • Coördineren van de in‑ en uitstroom van goederen en onderhouden van contact met transporteurs.
  • Verantwoordelijk voor een ordelijk magazijn en het uitvoeren van stocktellingen.
  • Bewaken van een correcte batchtracking en traceerbaarheid van alle componenten en eindproducten.
Operationele aankoop & Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
  • Opvolgen van MRP in het ERP‑systeem en tijdig bestellen van grondstoffen en verpakkingen.
  • Actief monitoren en opvolgen van levertermijnen om de continuïteit van de productie te garanderen.
ERP‑systeem & Procesoptimalisatie (Odoo/SAP)
  • Zorgen voor een correcte en realtime verwerking van data in Odoo/SAP.
  • Nauw samenwerken met de COO om digitale workflows in het ERP‑systeem verder te optimaliseren en uit te rollen.
  • Documentatie van processen.
Facility Management & Veiligheid
  • Aanspreekpunt voor het onderhoud van machines en het gebouw (o.a. HVAC‑systemen).
  • Aansturen van externe technici en facilitaire partners om ervoor te zorgen dat de site veilig en in optimale staat blijft.
  • Binnen de plant zorgen we dat alle veiligheidsvoorschriften uitgevoerd worden en gedocumenteerd worden.

  • Je hebt meerdere jaren ervaring in een leidinggevende operationele rol binnen een productieomgeving (Make To Stock).
  • Ervaring in cosmetica of farma is een sterke troef.
  • ERP‑expertise: je hebt een diepgaande praktijkervaring met Odoo of SAP.
  • Hands‑on mentaliteit: je bent een “regelaar” die graag op de vloer aanwezig is en pas tevreden is als alles op rolletjes loopt.
  • Je hebt technisch inzicht en begrijpt de werking van machines en faciliteiten.
  • Je bent stressbestendig en weet prioriteiten te stellen. Je schakelt moeiteloos tussen een leverancier aan de poort, een haperende machine en een spoedoverleg met de COO.
  • Je denkt oplossingsgericht en houdt van structuur en efficiëntie.
