Plant Manager | DeWitt, MI

Salary Range: $134,000 - $185,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the DeWitt region seeking Plant Managers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates-not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily plant operations, including production, quality, maintenance, and logistics.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Manage and mentor plant staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Optimize resource allocation, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and customer satisfaction.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a Plant Manager or similar senior role.
• Proven track record of improving operational efficiency, safety, and quality metrics.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets and P&L responsibilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Project management experience, particularly with capital projects
• Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish)
• OSHA 30-hour certification
