Job description

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance team, focusing on retailer supplemental agreements. This role will be responsible for analyzing, modeling, and maintaining our existing and expanding portfolio of agreements, monitoring compliance, and reporting on retailer performance. The ideal candidate will have exceptional proficiency in Excel and experience using data tools such as SQL, Power Pivot, and Power BI to drive actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development, tracking, and analysis of retailer supplemental agreements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Utilize SQL to model impact of new agreements and amendments to existing agreements.
  • Perform peer analysis and benchmarking to evaluate the effectiveness and competitiveness of retailer arrangements.
  • Monitor front-end and opt-out compliance across production teams, identifying risks and educating teams on proper usage and compliance with terms.
  • Collaborate effectively with Sales, Legal, IT, and Marketing as agreements are executed, modified, or renewed.
  • Aid in the accrual and finalization of annual and quarterly retailer payments, ensuring timely coordination and accurate delivery.
  • Prepare and maintain forecasts, variance analyses, and profit-sharing expense reports, ensuring data accuracy and transparency.
  • Report and present financial results, trends, and insights to divisional and group leadership, providing clear, data driven recommendations that inform strategic decisions.
  • Contribute to the development of Power BI dashboards to visualize retailer performance and key financial metrics.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve data accuracy, analytical processes, and overall efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree ideally in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 0-3 years of experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Power Pivot, SQL, and Power BI strongly preferred
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial or analytical data into clear, concise insights.
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on listening, aligning goals, and contributing positively to stakeholder decision-making.
