BI Developers are aligned to a primary reporting platform based on organizational needs and role assignment. Primary platforms include:

• Enterprise BI Platforms (Power BI, Paginated Reports)

As a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer, you will provide technical assistance across the Business Intelligence team and ensure analytics solutions are consistent, scalable, and aligned across reporting platforms, and will serve as a technical expert and thought leader in enterprise analytics. You will architect advanced BI solutions, design scalable data models, and lead initiatives that integrate data across multiple systems. This role requires deep expertise in BI technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence technical direction and standards for the organization.

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent years in experience)
  • 5 or more years experience in healthcare environment
  • 6 or more years *SQL experience in a relational database or an equivalent combination of education and experience;*experience developing applications with one or more business intelligence tools such as Epic Reporting Epic Cogito Reporting, Power BI, SAP Business Objects, Workday Report Writer or equivalent;*experience in data literacy, using data storytelling and interpretation techniques to uncover insights, influence stakeholder decisions, and drive data-backed, measurable outcomes.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Master's Degree in Business/ Health Administration, Computer Science/ or related field
  • *Experience with database management technologies;*Experience in database building, maintenance, and reporting;*Experience with BI visualization, Workday, or Epic Reporting;*Experience with Vizient or related healthcare improvement companies.;*Project management, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile certification;*Experience using data mining/analytical methods and associated tools such as Python, R, etc.;* Experience with on premise database management technologies;*Experience with cloud service such as Azure Cloud, Synapse, Data Factory, Azure SQL;*Experience with on premise database management technologies;*Exposure to Epic Clarity/Caboodle, Power BI semantic modeling, or Workday Prism
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI/GenAI tools and prompt engineering to optimize BI development workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and evaluate AI-enabled platform features (e.g., Copilot for Power BI, Epic AI/NLP capabilities)
