Job Title: Data Warehouse Analyst / Power BI Report Builder
Location: Tallahassee, FL (Onsite)
Position Overview:
Client is seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Analyst / Power BI Report Builder with strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI, Power BI Report Builder, DAX, SQL, Snowflake, and dimensional data modeling.
The successful candidate will design and optimize Power BI semantic models, dashboards, analytical reports, and dataflows using Snowflake as a primary data source. This role requires strong hands-on experience with enterprise reporting, advanced DAX, complex SQL, Snowflake performance tuning, and dimensional modeling.
The candidate will work closely with data engineers, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to develop reliable, scalable, and high-performance reporting solutions.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8+ years of IT experience working with business intelligence tools and systems.
  • 5 7+ years of hands-on Microsoft Power BI experience developing enterprise-level reports, dashboards, semantic models, and analytical solutions.
Strong experience with:
  • Power BI
  • Power BI Report Builder
  • Advanced DAX
  • Power Query
  • Power BI semantic models

Advanced SQL skills, including:

  • Troubleshoot performance issues across Power BI, DAX, SQL, and Snowflake compute layers.
  • Maintain metadata, data lineage, report specifications, and other technical documentation.
  • Translate business requirements into effective semantic models, reports, and analytical solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, data engineers, and other technical teams.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while managing priorities and meeting deadlines.
