Job description

Job Title: Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Apps Developer Location: US-Remote Clearance: US Citizenship with eligibility for a Public Trust Clearance is required Hourly Rate: $85/hr. to $95/hr. range W2 Responsibilities: System One IT is seeking a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Apps Developer to lead all application development and support activities under CLIN 0004, delivering sprint-based enhancements and ongoing support for ABMC's Dynamics 365 Customer Service platform, Power Platform suite, and related OAI-PMH/RESTful API integrations. This role is the technical owner of the application inventory, data flows, and integration architecture across Dataverse, Power Pages, Power Automate, and Power BI, and is responsible for all releases through ABMC's Change Control Board process. This position is a named key role under the solicitation and requires a current Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certification as a condition of assignment. MUST HAVE: Microsoft Power Platform Developer Expert (PL-400) combined with a Dynamics 365 functional consultant certification Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure, and support Dynamics 365 Customer Service, including case management workflows, queues, routing rules, and entity customizations within the ABMC tenant.
  • Build and maintain Power Apps (model-driven and canvas), Dataverse schemas, Power Pages public-facing sites, Power Automate flows, and Power BI reporting solutions aligned to ABMC business requirements.
  • Design and maintain OAI-PMH and RESTful API integrations to support the WeRemember application and any successor platforms that ABMC adopts during contract performance.
  • Manage all development through ABMC's Change Control Board (CCB) authorization process; no changes may be deployed to production without prior CCB approval.
  • Resolve defects identified during user acceptance testing at no additional cost when defects result from contractor development work.
  • Maintain current technical documentation for all supported applications, including application inventory, data flows, interface points, security roles, configuration decisions, and release history, updated with each sprint delivery.
  • Produce sprint deliverables, including Technical Design documents, Test Plans, Test Results, and Release Notes for each authorized iteration.
  • Ensure all application deliverables and outputs meet Section 508 accessibility requirements; ABMC has explicit authority to reject for Section 508 non-compliance.
Qualifications: Education and Years of Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • An equivalent combination of education and nine or more years of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform development experience will be considered instead of the degree requirement.
Required Skills & Certifications:
  • One current Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certification, such as PL-400 (Power Platform Developer Expert), MB-230 (Dynamics 365 Customer Service Functional Consultant), or PL-200 (Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate).
  • S.-based. All configuration and development work must be performed within the United States.
  • 7+ years of experience developing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, with demonstrated proficiency in Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, and Power Pages.
  • Hands-on experience designing and consuming OAI-PMH or RESTful APIs within a Power Platform or Azure integration architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering under a sprint-based model with formal change control processes, government-deliverable documentation standards, and Section 508 compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting Dynamics 365 or Power Platform applications in a federal civilian or regulated government environment.
Skills & Certifications:
  • Microsoft Power Platform Developer Expert (PL-400) combined with a Dynamics 365 functional consultant certification.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for sprint tracking, source control, and CI/CD pipeline management in a government cloud environment.
  • Power BI dashboard development experience supporting operational or management reporting for federal program offices.
  • Microsoft partner credentials or specializations in Business Applications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot Studio or AI Builder features within the Power Platform.
