Position: Sr. Power App Developer

Location: New York, NY/Boston, MA

Duration: 12 Months

Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Rapid Application Development

  • Custom Applications: Architect and build high-performance Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) to digitize employee lifecycle events, specialized HR approvals, and internal resource tracking.
  • Complex Workflows: Design end-to-end, automated business logic using Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop Flows), implementing nested loops, multi-stage approval logic, and exception handling.
  • SharePoint Online Infrastructure: Provision, configure, and maintain advanced SharePoint Online sites, managing intricate custom forms, document libraries, large lists, and role-based access control (RBAC).

Enterprise Intranet & Integration Engineering

  • Enterprise Connectivity: Seamlessly integrate Power Platform solutions with core HR systems (such as Workday), internal APIs, and Azure Active Directory using standard and custom connectors.
  • Intranet Optimization: Build and support personalized, global employee intranet portals, ensuring high performance, intuitive information architecture, and crisp responsive layout design across desktop and mobile.

Risk, Compliance & Platform Governance

  • Security & Guardrails: Align all applications with State Street s rigorous information security, data privacy (e.g., GDPR), and risk management policies.
  • Data Lifecycle Management: Handle sensitive employee data with strict adherence to data masking, least-privilege permission models, and enterprise audit logging.
  • ALM Execution: Maintain environment strategy discipline across Development, UAT, and Production environments using Power Platform Solutions and modern CI/CD practices.
