Painter I

Weekend Day Shift: Saturday, Sunday and Monday

$22.85 + $3.00 per hour shift premium


Painter - The Paint Hanger is expected to safely complete supervised powder coat paintestablishedprocedures, processes, or policies. Paint Hangers safely and efficiently load and unload raw parts from the paint line.The PaintHangers are expected to move efficiently and safely with the end result beinga readyto use part or assembly.

Major Responsibilities

Loading, transferring, and unloading of parts on and/or from paintline

Process each part by hanging/racking to paintapplication

Inspect quality of parts before and after finishing process

Perform work duties in a safe manner andin accordance withpolicy (including wearing required proper personal protective equipment, work habits and performingappropriate housekeepingduties)

Constantly work in a constantly high heat environment

Inspect quality of parts before and after finishing process

Exchange and break down racks and prepare for burn-off

Maintain propercounts

Report allscrap

Perform stock handling duties asrequired

Maintain a clean work environment

Minimum Job Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent

0-2 years of experience

Detail oriented andorganized

The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
