Job description

  • Produce high-quality coated products that meet NOV Tuboscope and customer specifications for performance, durability, and appearance.
  • Support 2nd Shift efficient production operations by performing multiple coating processes while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
  • Promote a safe and compliant work environment by following all Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE), Quality Management System (QMS), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain equipment readiness and operational efficiency to support continuous production.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure effective communication, workflow, and continuous improvement.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience is desirable
  • Mechanical aptitude as demonstrated by prior experience. 
  • Ability to think ahead, anticipate problems and make decisions 
  • Self-motivated towards productivity improvements, quality, and safety awareness. 
  • Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation.
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends and some holidays as needed. 
  • Flexible and able to accept and respond to multi-task assignments quickly, readily, and safely. 
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel. 
  • Prior coating and sand blasting experience preferred but not required. 

  • Perform thermoclean, bake, blasting, coating and other liquid and powder coating operations per the NOV Tuboscope Standard Operating Procedures. 
  • Perform all assignments, duties and tasks in a safe manner while following Standard Operating Procedures. 

  • Develop, monitor, and maintain critical control points to ensure excellent process and product quality. 
  • Set up equipment according to work order. 
  • Communicate and coordinate all pertinent information to appropriate Leadperson/Supervisor/Manager to ensure effective and safe operations. 
  • Performing quality checks throughout production runs. 
  • Inform the Foreman/Supervisor/Manager of any interruptions or irregularities in the production line. 
  • Follow all Company HSE, QMS and SOP policies and procedures and report to the appropriate personnel of any violations of these policies or procedures. 
  • Record QMS Reports and/or daily production reports as instructed by Shift Supervisor and SOP. 
  • Perform other various job duties that may be required by the Leadperson/Supervisor/Manager.
