Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Identifying, picking, and returning of powder boxes correctly according to work schedule.
  • Electrostatic powder coating of products of varying sizes and material in a spray booth.
  • Ability to spray powder to the correct thickness range as specified by the engineering department.
  • Powder coater is responsible for the cleaning of the spray gun and paint booth used that day.
  • Quality control review of unloading parts off the production line and identify defects within drying stage.
  • Ensure precise chemistry balance of the wash cycle process.
  • Set up and take down of materials to be sprayed.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently communicate information and respond to questions from shop lead, supervisor, and other departments.
  • Excellent hand/eye coordination.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Ability to understand engineering design drawings.
  • Must be able to work independently and efficiently.
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented.
  • Excel in a fast-paced work environment.

Required Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two (2) or more years manufacturing paint and/or powder coating experience.

Physical Requirements:
  • Lift/carry up to 50 lbs. for short distances.
  • Stand for long periods of time.
  • Adhere to all PPE requirements.

Working Environment:
  • Smoke free workplace.
