From our hatcheries to our "ready to eat" state of the art cooking facilities we service customers in the retail, food service and industrial sectors. Our test kitchens have the most current cooking equipment replicating that used in commercial establishments, to facilitate precision testing. We are proud of our long-standing partnerships with family-owned Canadian chicken farmers to produce high quality products.

THE ROLE:

Field Services Representative is responsible for the needs of broiler and breeder producers. This position will work collaboratively with the Grower Production & Field Service Managers. They are responsible for implementing best practices and procedures, while following all company policies and procedures. 

They are responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with our chicken and hatching egg growers and promoting Sunrise Farms within the grower communities.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain excellent communication with producers
  • Manage farm issues/opportunities with our Growers, including mortality, target weight and other issues as they arise
  • Keep a current knowledge of industry trends
  • Other duties as required

SKILL, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to identify opportunities and follow through on the execution and improvement
  • Excellent Analytical & organizational skills
  • Time Management
  • Previous Agricultural /Poultry industry experience is an asset
  • Proficient skills in MS Word, Excel and OutlookCOMPETENCIES AND ATTRIBUTES:
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills to share ideas and influence others
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
