Laborde Products is looking for experienced Field Service Technicians to join our team. If you know diesel engines, take pride in doing quality work, and want a long-term opportunity with a stable company, we'd like to talk to you.

Marine experience is NOT required. If your background is in heavy equipment, trucking, power generation, industrial equipment, or another diesel environment, your experience may be a great fit.

What You'll Do

You'll diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair marine and industrial diesel engines and equipment.

Your work will include:

  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing diesel engine problems
  • Performing maintenance, repairs, and major engine work
  • Completing engine rebuilds based on experience
  • Reading service manuals, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Performing field service and supporting customers
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, and your assigned service vehicle

You'll have the opportunity to work independently, solve challenging problems, and tackle a variety of repairs rather than doing the same job every day.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of professional diesel technician experience
  • Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
  • Major engine repair experience
  • Engine rebuild experience is highly valued
  • Ability to work independently in the field
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
  • Professional and dependable
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Marine diesel experience is a plus, but not required
