As our Primary Care Internal Medicine Physician, you will join an established practice in beautiful Poulsbo, WA. We specialize in diagnosing and treating family medicine patients, making a significant impact on their lives and families.

Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients within Franciscan Medical Group.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, BC/BE, and compassionate Family Medicine Primary Care Physician, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex diseases, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegiate and supportive environment. 

  • Provide comprehensive, longitudinal primary care to adult patients (18+), including preventative wellness, acute illness management, and chronic disease management
  • Perform routine physical exams, annual check-ups, and screenings, providing education on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle modifications 
  • Order appropriate diagnostic tests (laboratory, imaging, EEGs) and interpret results to formulate evidence-based treatment plans 
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including specialists, nurse care coordinators, and social workers to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care 
  • Offer guidance, counseling, and education on wellness, disease management, and medication adherence to patients and their families 
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed medical records, utilizing EPIC appropriately
  • Provide and document direct treatment for patients, including ordering medications, referrals, and following up on specialist consultations 
  • Participate in primary care division activities, including peer review programs, quality metric improvement, and policy development 
  • Option of working 5-8 or 4 - 10 hour work days per week
  • Compensation ranges from $261,962 - $376,164 /year

We are offering a guaranteed one-year salary, wRVU productivity, and an annual bonus incentive. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance is available

Required

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Active, unrestricted license in the state of Washington
  • Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for the specific practice
  • Strong clinical diagnostic skills in an ambulatory setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to all ages of patients
