Requirements:
  • Must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the WA State Board of Nursing or Multi-State Compact Nurse license.
  • Current certification of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with a Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers card with American Heart Association.
  • Minimum 1 year nursing experience.
  • Previous Dialysis experience, required.
  • Prior experience in Acute or Ambulatory Nursing preferred.
  • Must be able to work at any PSKCs clinic located on the peninsula (Poulsbo, Bremerton, Port Orchard, Port Townsend).
  • Must be able to work any shift (AM/PM) schedule depending upon staffing needs.
  • 1+ years of experience

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the delivery of dialysis and the care of patients at Puget Sound Kidney Centers (PSKC).
  • Provide education to patients.
  • Supervise Dialysis Technicians.
  • Adjust treatment plans per standing orders, care plans.
  • Monitor the patient’s outcomes.
  • Administer medications.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with other members of the patient’s care team (social worker, dietitians, and nephrologist).
