Join Us as a Material Handler at Potter Global Technologies!

As a Material Handler, you will support the development of cutting-edge products from concept through production by ensuring materials and components are accurately received, organized, and delivered to the production floor. Our manufacturing team is looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and motivated to play a critical role in delivering high-quality products, this role could be perfect for you!

What You’ll Do

  • Retrieve products from designated storage locations within the warehouse
  • Accurately read work order or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be picked, packaged, and shipped
  • Accurately identifying items based on order specifications and ensuring the correct quantity is selected
  • Pack all materials into appropriate containers based on specific packing requirements
  • Ensure materials are packed effectively to avoid damage during transit
  • Coordinate the shipment process by preparing shipping labels, verifying addresses, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete
  • Collaborate with shipping carriers to facilitate the timely dispatch of packages
  • Conduct visual inspections of products during the picking and packing stages to identify any defects or discrepancies
  • Utilize inventory management systems to update stock levels and communicate any shortages or overages, as needed
  • Work effectively as a team to achieve daily shipping goals

Location

This is a full-time position, on-site at our Hazlewood, MO location. The expected schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, but an occasional shift in hours may be necessary to accommodate project schedules.
