As part of our expanding Global Engineering and Scientific consulting team, you will work at the forefront of today's most complex engineering challenges. You will be engaged in analyzing failures of a myriad of products from a variety of industries, but with a heavy focus on large industrial facilities like power plants, Oil & Gas facilities, chemical processing plants, construction, and similar. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requisite professional designations and work experience:
    • Master's or PhD degree in Experimental, Industrial or Cognitive Psychology, Industrial Engineering plus 5 years of experience as a Human Factors professional
    • Or related field along with +5 years experience as a Human Factors professional
  • Certified Human Factors Professional or Certified User Experience Professional desirable.
  • Specific work experience in the forensic field with experimental design, safety consulting, statistical analysis, and/or evidence examination. Related educational experience will also be considered.
  • Experience with research and application of regulations and standards, analyzing scientific literature on human performance and safety, and applying these to various accident scenarios.
  • Participated in or conducted human factors research and testing.
  • Performed design and evaluation of warnings, safety information, and user performance data.
  • Experience working in teams, case management, client relationships, project support, and preparing and communicating technical information effectively.
  • Must have work experience in human-computer interaction, human factors and product design, occupational biomechanics, cognitive engineering and/or work physiology.
  • Strong expert report writing skills to complement analytics
  • Able to quickly assimilate relevant information in unfamiliar situations and develop creative approaches and solutions necessary to resolve complex problems
  • The ability to manage and prioritize your time and your team's time, potentially against a backdrop of competing deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
