About You:
Versana is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented UX Designer to join our UX team. This role will support the fast-growing product and engineering teams while maintaining the design system library and UX standards. Reporing to our UX Lead, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between design, business, and technology by conducting user interviews and executing on design deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Product team to gather and understand requirements.
• Design wireframes and create interactive prototypes.
• Execute usability tests, analyze the results, and provide actionable insights.
• Develop user personas based on research data to guide design decisions.
• Map user journeys and identify pain points or opportunities for improvement.
• Communicate research findings and design solutions to stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure the design vision is implemented.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably assigned from time to time as operational needs evolve.
• Periodically work outside standard business hours, such as during infrastructure upgrades and/or releases.
Must Haves:
• BS or BA in human-computer interaction/user experience.
• 4-7+ years of UX design experience.
• Ability to navigate between multiple products and stakeholders.
• Ability to find a balance between creativity and upholding UX standards.
• Strong UX research skills.
• Knowledge of WCAG guidelines.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to partner with various internal teams.
Nice to Haves:
• Design, build and maintain reusable and consistent components in Figma.
• Light front-end skills.
