Job description

Location: Glendale, Arizona (West Phoenix / Luke AFB area, on-site) Employment Type: One full-time position (40 hours/week) and one part-time position (15 hours/week) Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shift within 0900 to 1600 operating hours Compensation: Competitive hourly wage at or above the applicable Service Contract Act wage determination, plus Health and Welfare fringe benefits Start Date: On or about 1 October 2026 (contingent on contract award and completion of required credentialing)

About the Role

Roku Management Consulting is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Postal Service Center Clerks to support mail operations at a secure installation in the West Phoenix area. In this role, you will receive, inspect, sort, and distribute mail for a large customer population, provide professional customer window service, and maintain the accountability and security standards required in a military postal environment. This is a stable, on-site position ideal for candidates who take pride in accuracy, reliability, and public service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming mail and parcels from postal and commercial carriers and verify counts against manifests
  • Sign for and scan accountable items into an automated tracking system, maintaining strict chain of custody
  • Inspect incoming mail for damage and for suspicious or prohibited items, following established safety and notification procedures
  • Sort and distribute mail to assigned receptacles and parcel lockers, completing daily distribution no later than 1500 hours
  • Provide courteous customer service at the service window, including general delivery for transient personnel
  • Prepare and place customer pickup notices and process mail directory updates
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance, including combination lock and cylinder changes on mail receptacles
  • Maintain key control, safeguard government property, and keep the work area clean and orderly
  • Complete and maintain required postal forms and records in compliance with applicable regulations

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling accountable items
  • Reliable attendance and professional appearance and conduct
  • Ability to pass a background/vetting process and obtain installation access and postal credentialing (sponsored after hire)
  • U.S. person status sufficient to obtain required installation access
  • Ability to stand, lift, and move mail and parcels (up to approximately 50 pounds) throughout the shift

Preferred, but not required:

  • Prior postal, mailroom, shipping/receiving, warehouse, or customer service experience
  • Familiarity with scanning or inventory tracking systems
