Nick DiGiovanni is the world’s top-ranked celebrity chef and content creator with over 75M followers across platforms. Led by Nick, Knife Drop Studios is on a mission to become the world’s largest food media company and is searching for top-tier talent with a passion for educating and inspiring people through a shared love of food.


About the Job

We’re looking for an experienced, highly organized Production Manager to own production across our verticals, including long-form and short-form content for Nick DiGiovanni and Nick’s Kitchen channels, and other digital programming.


This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can take a production from idea to execution and make the entire process feel seamless: from crew, locations, travel, equipment, and permits to schedules, budgets, vendors, and on-set logistics.


This is a hybrid position: remote planning with in-person presence in the Boston area on shoot days. Boston is preferred, with Miami, NYC, and other East Coast locations considered. Exceptional candidates in other locations may also be considered. Regardless of location, occasional travel for shoots both domestic and international is expected.


Who We’re Looking For

You’ll help build a production department that can operate efficiently without constant oversight. When the team has an idea, you’ll be the person who can take it from “we want to shoot this next week” to a fully planned and executed production: solving problems, leading the team, budgeting and negotiating with vendors, and making sure every detail comes together seamlessly.

What You’ll Do

  • Own productions from concept through execution across multiple channels and formats
  • Build production plans, schedules, budgets, and logistics for shoots of all sizes
  • Coordinate crew, locations, travel, equipment, permits, vendors, and other production needs
  • Build and improve production workflows and systems as the department grows
  • Manage production budgets, expenses, purchase orders, vendors, and negotiations
  • Lead production staff, freelancers, crews, and external partners
  • Partner with producers, creators, camera teams, editors, and post-production to keep productions aligned
  • Anticipate problems and adapt quickly when priorities or schedules change
  • Manage domestic and international production logistics and travel


What You’ll Bring

  • 5-10 years of professional video production, production management, line producing, or production operations experience
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Experience leading teams, crews, freelancers, or larger-scale productions
  • Proven experience owning productions from concept through completion
  • Strong production budgeting skills, including understanding market rates and negotiating costs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm and resourceful under pressure
  • Experience building production workflows, systems, and processes
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple productions and timelines
  • Comfortable with travel, long shoot days, changing schedules, and last-minute production needs
  • YouTube, creator, or digital media experience is a strong plus; traditional film and television experience is also welcome
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
