Job Title: Student Worker - Student Productions Intern - BC

Hourly Rate: $10.00 per hour (maximum of 300 hours)
Desired Length of Employment: August 2025 through end of April 2026
Work Schedule: 10 hours per week excluding university holidays (with 20-25 hours per week for 2 show weeks in February). Flexible working hours in consultation with supervisor. Must be available from 4pm-11pm February 18th, 19th, 20th, 26th, and 27th (2027).
Job Description:
The Student Productions Intern provides support to the Student Productions Committee and All-University Sing production by serving as the Sing Judge Coordinator. This position oversees the judge recruitment, selection, and on campus judging experience process for All-University Sing.
The Student Productions Intern is responsible for attending biweekly one-on-one meetings with the designated supervisor and meeting project deadlines through the term of employment. The Student Productions Intern is responsible for planning and attending 5 Sing Judge dinners and assisting judges for 5 evening productions with the scoring process.
Undergraduate or graduate student with demonstrated communication, administrative/organization, and project management skills. Preferred experience in performance production management, event planning, and/or customer service.
Job responsibilities will include:
  • Serve as a liaison between Department of Student Activities/Student Productions Committee and judges
  • Manage outreach to potential judges and for communicating with selected judges
  • Prepare judge documents and resources including training materials, scorecards, and judge bios
  • Coordinate judges' travel details and on-campus schedules in partnership with supervisor
  • Gather reimbursement information and event feedback information from each judge post-production
  • May assist with maintaining internal databases and records
  • May assist with developing processes and procedures
  • Perform related business operation duties for assigned area of responsibility; Provide mid to advanced level administrative and operational support for day-to-day tasks
  • Demonstrate professional communication and provide excellent customer service
  • Prioritize tasks and take initiative to meet deadlines
  • May assist with various special projects, activities and initiatives supporting departmental goals
  • May assist with identifying areas of improvement and recommend solutions
  • Ability to comply with University policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance; Promptly communicate scheduling conflicts with supervisor
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
