Minnesota Post Grad is an elite baseball performance organization that is committed to the advancement of its players to the collegiate level through individualized player and team development, exposure, academic preparation, and college competition.


Job Overview

Minnesota Post Grad Baseball is looking to hire a talented digital media content creator to join our team this fall. This position will allow applicants to gain valuable experience across all areas of social and digital media, getting you as close to working in a professional/college sports environment as you can. Focusing mostly on capturing photo and video content, you will be responsible for telling the story of our athletes progress throughout the season. Be a part of the MPG team and help our athletes reach the next level!


Responsibilities for Social Media Intern

  • Capture and create videos of our athletes during training
  • Take and edit photos that capture the atmosphere of training sessions
  • Produce and edit social media “bits” 
  • Travel to games to capture content
  • Post live content to Instagram stories


Preferred Qualifications for Social Media Intern

  • Bachelor's degree in OR enrolled in a program in a related field. (Marketing, journalism, public relations, etc..)
  • 1-2 years of content creation experience 
  • Familiarity working in sports (specifically baseball)
  • Comfortable with working with Adobe Creative Suite
  • General knowledge of social media platforms (X, Instagram and Facebook)
  • Ability to work during the week and weekends
  • Some travel may be required

  • Stipend based on experience and availability (~$2,000)
  • Internship runs September-New Years (Can extend for Spring Season as well) 
  • Ability to use any content you capture or create for your own portfolio
