Office Assistant

The Office Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of the rPlus office, with a primary focus on errands, deliveries, and hands-on logistical support that keeps the office running smoothly and efficiently. This role is highly active and requires frequent movement throughout the workday to support office needs in real time. The Office Assistant works in close partnership with the Office Administrator to positively shape the day-to-day office experience by helping ensure the workplace is welcoming, well supported, and resources are consistently available, organized, and well maintained. This is a part-time, onsite position based in the Salt Lake City, UT office, with a regular schedule of 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

General Responsibilities
  • Perform frequent errands and tasks to support office operations, including picking up supplies, delivering items between locations, handling mail and packages, coordinating drop-offs and pickups, and supporting time sensitive office needs. Maintain shared spaces such as kitchens and conference rooms by restocking and organizing supplies, preparing rooms for daily use, and ensuring spaces are clean, functional, and welcoming for employees and visitors.
  • Support onsite and offsite meeting and event logistics, including room setup, basic technology readiness, catering coordination, and post-meeting breakdown.
  • Assist with basic office setup, organization, light facilities needs, and troubleshooting minor office equipment or technology issues; coordinate with IT or vendors as needed.
  • Support company vehicle logistics, including routine maintenance, inspections, and coordination of vehicle use.
  • Assist with administrative and logistical tasks such as document handling, scanning, filing, deliveries, basic invoice support, and onboarding logistics in partnership with HR and the Office Administrator.
  • Maintain working knowledge of office procedures, vendors, and workflows and provide office coverage when the Office Administrator is out to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Contribute positively to the day-to-day office environment through reliable support, responsiveness, and a service-oriented, hands-on approach while performing other office-related duties as assigned.
Skill Requirements
  • 1–3 years of experience in office support, administrative assistance, facilities, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and proactively.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
