Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) | Outpatient Clinic | Full-time | 49 Mall Road, Ste B, Oak Hill, WV 25901

BODYWORKS, a H2 Health company, is seeking a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient team in Oak Hill, West Virginia. At BODYWORKS, you'll work with a diverse outpatient population while providing individualized, evidence-based care. Our team treats orthopedic injuries, post-surgical conditions, musculoskeletal disorders, balance impairments, and mobility-related challenges. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients while collaborating with a supportive clinical team dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes and patient experiences.

Your Role

Physical Therapist (PT)

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Deliver evidence-based treatment interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and overall quality of life.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, wellness, and home exercise programs.
  • Utilize Scribe AI-powered documentation technology to streamline documentation and maximize patient care time.
  • Utilize the Raintree EMR platform for documentation, scheduling, and patient management.
  • Work within a manageable outpatient caseload environment focused on quality patient care.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

  • Provide skilled physical therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
  • Accurately document patient progress and communicate treatment updates with the clinical team.
  • Utilize Scribe AI-powered documentation technology to streamline documentation and maximize patient care time.
  • Utilize the Raintree EMR platform for documentation, scheduling, and patient management.
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists and support staff to support strong patient outcomes.

Requirements

Physical Therapist (PT)

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent legacy degree (MSPT/MPT/BPT) from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current West Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

  • Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current West Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure.
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required.
