Waterman Canyon Post-Acute is a 196-bed skilled nursing facility conveniently located in San Bernardino, CA. We are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients while maintaining a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment. Pay: $17.48 - $18.00 per hour, DOE
Position: Housekeeper
Position Summary:
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility, including building areas, grounds, and fixtures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the building and grounds to ensure a clean, neat, and presentable environment
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the facility
  • Clean restrooms, including disinfecting toilets, sinks, and floors, and restocking supplies as needed
  • Remove trash and dispose of it in designated areas
  • Maintain and properly use all janitorial equipment
  • Report any maintenance issues or major repair needs to management
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior housekeeping or related experience preferred

Required Skills:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Effective time management
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
