The Better Living Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated remote team. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and emotional needs through comprehensive telehealth interviews.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update tailored treatment plans based on individual client goals and clinical insights.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, offering individual, family, and group therapy sessions that are adaptable to a virtual medium.
  • Continuously monitor clients' therapeutic progress, making adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary, assisting clients in acute distress through virtual support channels.
  • Keep meticulous and secure client records in compliance with HIPAA and professional ethics, ensuring confidentiality is maintained throughout the therapeutic process.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and wellness coaches, to create holistic care pathways for our clients.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, actively staying informed about trends and research in mental health treatment.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance clinical proficiency and ensure high standards of care.
  • Maintain adherence to ethical guidelines and professional standards dictated by applicable licensing boards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

  • Current licensure to practice as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
  • Profound clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to identify and understand client needs effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, facilitating clear and empathetic interactions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to client well-being and ethical therapeutic practices.

Preferred Experience
