Position Description Summary:

The Site Leader is responsible for the daily success of the facility, which includes, but it is not limited to, managing budgets, scheduling personnel shifts, maintaining wash quality, guest service and management of personnel. This role requires a strong leader who can foster a positive team environment, drive results, and ensure consistent adherence to company policy and procedure.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Performance: Drive profitably by increasing sales (individual washes and total number of membership subscribers), track expenses and analyze ongoing financial performance.

Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient daily operations. Maintain a safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained facility. Oversee ongoing wash quality and implement procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.

Guest Service: Champion exceptional guest service, train team members and resolve customer complaints effectively.

Team Leadership and Development: Mentor shift leaders and team members. Conduct weekly meetings with shift leaders to review performance, address issues, and plan for upcoming events. Conduct performance reviews and address disciplinary issues as needed.
Human Resources: Oversee all personnel-related paperwork, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations, which will require the successful candidate to collaborate with leadership on hiring processes and onboarding new team members.

Scheduling and Staffing: Create and manage work schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing levels based on projected sales and labor budgets.
Equipment and Facility Operations: Comfortable identifying and responding to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, detergent and basic chemical, POS and basic computer setup, and general facility issues.
Emergency and Incident Response: Dealing with issues arising with equipment, emergencies, failures, floods, alarms, security systems, safety concerns, staff emergencies, etc.
Claims and Escalated Guest Concerns: Responsible for investigating any issues with claims, know basic mechanical for cars, reviewing footage, documenting incidents, communicating with guests, coordinating approved repairs, and escalating matters when appropriate to leadership.
Vendor, Contractor, and Supplier Coordination: Thinks broadly, able to organize outside repairs and services, coordinate with staff and with external team members, suppliers, source urgent parts and tools, and make sure the site has the resources needed to remain operational.

Inventory Management: Track and manage invoices, recording costs in the management system. Track usage and order detergents and equipment as needed while considering usage rates and shipping time.

Technology Proficiency: Perform all POS and computer-related system tasks.

Policy Adherence: Ensure all company policies and procedures are consistently followed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

At least two years of previous management experience; customer-facing car wash/retail/hospitality experience preferred.

Excellent verbal/written communication and excellent analytical/problem-solving skills.

Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams (coaching, delegation, performance management), which includes basic human resources knowledge (hiring, onboarding and employment management)

Strong understanding of operational principles and the ability to analyze data and drive business performance via strong financial management (utilizing and creating a budget and managing a P&L).

Exceptional customer service skills and a track record for exceeding expectations; prefer prior experience in building a customer-centric culture.

POS system proficiency and ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines. High School Diploma/equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.

Must have a valid passport and be able to travel to the United States.
