The team partners closely with Store Operations, Product, QA, Infrastructure, and external vendors to support mission-critical Point of Sale (POS) systems and ensure seamless customer experiences.

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Verifone pin pads, including SCA software and payment flows.

  • Act as a primary liaison with NCR, coordinating development, enhancements, and issue resolution.

  • Lead production support, including triage, root cause analysis, and resolution of POS-related issues.

  • Develop and maintain automated test coverage using Mabl.

  • Leverage AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency.

  • Support WSI loyalty systems, including account lookup and PLCC credit application flows.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end store system solutions.

Criteria

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong experience with retail POS systems, preferably NCR Advanced Store.
  • Hands-on expertise with store hardware devices and configurations.
  • Experience with Verifone pin pads and SCA software.
  • Proven ability to work with external vendors (NCR).
  • Strong experience in production support and incident management.
  • Experience with test automation (Mabl preferred).
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot).
  • Solid understanding of retail store systems, payments, and loyalty integrations.
  • Ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate across teams.
  • This role requires being onsite in the San Francisco office Monday through Thursday.
