  • Responsibilities
    • Provide high-quality interpretation services during consultations, client meetings, trial preparations, and other legal proceedings-both in person and over the phone.
    • Deliver consecutive and simultaneous interpretation between Spanish, English, and Portuguese, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all communications.
    • Perform sight translations of legal documents for clients and attorneys, conveying meaning with precision.
    • Accompany clients and attorneys to USCIS interviews, offering interpretation support as needed.
    • Translate legal and administrative documents between interpreting sessions with attention to legal terminology and cultural context.
    • Offer administrative assistance to attorneys and paralegals, contributing to the overall efficiency of the office.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality in handling all client and attorney information, in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Certification: Translator/Interpreter certification preferred
  • Language Proficiency: Full professional fluency in both Spanish and English
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in interpreting and translating in a professional setting
