Purpose of Job
Comments
The purpose of this position is to provide Finished Goods Packaging Preparation for plant production.
Activities and Responsibilities
Comments
• • Assist with Packaging prep as needed which may include:
1. Remove old labels.
2. Inspect packaging for damage.
3. Remove dunnage.
4. Prepare totes/trays with correct quantity and dunnage needed for production.
5. Prepare boxes as needed.
• Complete Warehouse documents as required.
• Ensures accurate recording of part and lot numbers and proper labels are used for product identification.
• Move product within the material handling guidelines to ensure that product is not damaged.
• Perform daily safety inspection of utilized material handling equipment
• Practice safe work habits and follow all safety procedures. Notify supervisor of all unsafe work conditions.
• Respect "Pedestrian First" safety during all operations product transport.
• Use material handling equipment (hand trucks) to transport product.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
Education & Experience Requirements
Comments
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
