The Role

We're seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our Enterprise Risk Management team. This role sits at the intersection of credit risk analytics, data science, and strategic risk management. You'll leverage advanced querying, AI-assisted analytics, and predictive portfolio performance monitoring, identify emerging credit trends, and develop forward-looking risk indicators that inform our risk appetite and underwriting strategies.

You'll work directly with senior leadership and support credit risk strategy at a fast-growing fintech bank. If you're passionate about credit risk, love working with data, and want to use cutting-edge AI tools to solve complex problems, this is the role for you.

You Will

  • Monitor credit performance across consumer and commercial portfolios
  • Build and maintain credit risk dashboards that provide real-time visibility into portfolio health for senior management and the Board
  • Analyze early warning signals (7-day delinquency, payment behavior changes, credit utilization patterns) to predict portfolio stress before it materializes in losses
  • Track key credit risk indicators (KRIs) defined in the Bank's Risk Appetite Statement, including delinquency rates, charge-off metrics, risk grade distributions, and concentration limits
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly credit risk reports for the management and board committees
  • Lead or challenge credit risk assessments for new products, partnerships, underwriting policy changes, and portfolio expansion initiatives
  • Partner with Credit, Underwriting, and Product teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence
  • Support regulatory examinations by preparing credit risk documentation, responding to examiner requests, and presenting portfolio performance

You Have

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in a business or quantitative field
  • 5+ years of prior credit risk experience in a bank / financial services organization
  • Experience with regulatory requirements and guidelines
  • Experience in BI tools, creating dashboards and reports for senior management review
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, verbal and written communication skills
