Position Summary

Ocean City Vacation Homes is seeking a driven and dependable Operations Associate to become the heartbeat of our day-to-day operations. This is a role for someone who takes pride in doing the little things right, shows up ready to solve problems, and finds satisfaction in helping others succeed. You’ll be the connector behind the scenes, working alongside guests, homeowners, housekeeping teams, and maintenance partners to ensure every stay runs smoothly from start to finish.

In this fast-paced environment, no two days look the same. One moment you might be coordinating a last-minute maintenance fix, the next you’re supporting a guest or helping a homeowner feel confident their property is in great hands. It’s a role for someone who is humble, resourceful, and hungry to learn, someone who doesn’t need recognition to do great work but earns it through consistency, reliability, and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Support

    • Respond to guest inquiries before and during their stay

    • Resolve guest issues (Wi-Fi problems, maintenance issues, etc.)

    • Handle booking questions, and adjust reservations as needed

  • Scheduling & Coordination

    • Coordinate maintenance or repairs at properties

    • Ensure properties are ready for upcoming guests

  • Property Inspections

    • Check that homes are clean and properly set up

    • Report damages or missing items

    • May require minor housekeeping work to be done

  • Owner Communication

    • Update property owners about bookings, issues, or maintenance

    • Help coordinate improvements or repairs with owners

    • Maintain Communication

  • Listing & Booking Management

    • Manage listings on platforms like Airbnb, Vrbo, or the company's website

    • Monitor reservations and occupancy

  • Administrative Tasks

    • Track operational reports (cleaning schedules, maintenance logs)

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years minimum experience in the vacation rental industry

  • Effective and clear communication skills

  • High school diploma and ability to be a problem solver

  • Microsoft 365

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in the vacation rental industry

  • Be able to type at 50+ WPM

  • Self Starter looking to grow within company
