Job description

CAPITAL is seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Automotive Porter/Valet. This role's main responsibility is to ensure a positive customer experience by maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot and providing valet services. The Automotive Porter/Valet plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and well-maintained environment for both customers and dealership staff.

Automotive Porter/Valet Responsibilities:  

  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the dealership lot
  • Ensure that vehicles are properly staged, parked, and arranged according to dealership standards
  • Perform regular inspections for cleanliness and report any issues to appropriate departments
  • Provide valet services for customers visiting the dealership
  • Greet customers, assist with parking, and retrieve their vehicles upon departure
  • Offer a warm welcome to customers and assist with any questions or requests
  • Assist with managing vehicle inventory, including tracking vehicle locations and availability
  • All other duties assigned   

Automotive Porter/Valet Requirements:  

  • Previous experience as a porter, valet, or in a similar role is a plus
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks, such as walking and standing
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must pass pre-employment background screenings
