With impeccable attention to detail, the Portable Toilet Route Driver is responsible for the drop-off and pick-up, servicing, cleaning and stocking of portable toilets, holding tanks, freshwater systems, hand wash stations, and restroom trailers.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Drive truck to destination.
  • Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and report any discrepancies indicating truck condition to supervisor.
  • Ensure portable restroom are vacuum pumped, cleaned and sanitized.
  • Ensure all portable restrooms and handwashing stations are stocked with required supplies.
  • Maintain condition of portable restroom units by conducting repairs.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws while driving the company truck.
  • Follow the given map to ensure the correct placement of portable restrooms.
  • Maneuver truck in and around tight corners, through parking lots and around high pedestrian traffic.
  • Resolve customer requests, questions, and complaints with integrity and poise, provide information on parking procedures and/or policies.
  • Keep the assigned area clean and secure.
  • Attend training classes as directed by management.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Education:

  • High school diploma, or the equivalent preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Nevada Driver’s license.
  • Clean driving record.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Subject to pre-employment and random drug testing and road test.
  • 5 (five) years driving experience with 1 (one) year experience as a portable toilet route driver, delivery driver or commercial driving preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Work independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to read, write, and comprehend instructions and information in English.
  • Ability to use personal computer and hand-held applications.
  • An ability to work flexible shifts/hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, at varying locations.
  • Must be able to multitask in a fast pace and high-volume environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must present a professional, friendly image and appearance.
  • Must have reliable transportation and excellent attendance.

Physical Demands:

  • Finger and hand dexterity.
  • Requires the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
  • Noise levels are distracting or uncomfortable.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including extremes of hot or cold in addition to wet environments.
  • Job requires the following motions: climbing, stooping, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, repetitive lifting; up to 75 pounds, stretching, sitting, walking on uneven ground and stairs.
