We’re looking for a dependable Service Technician to maintain, repair, and install Porta Kleen sanitation equipment in both shop and field environments. This hands-on role supports safe, reliable operation of restroom, shower, and sleeper trailers while delivering quality service to our customers.

 

What You’ll Bring

What You’ll Do

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair restroom, shower, and sleeper trailers
  • Ensure equipment operates safely, reliably, and meets company standards
  • Install and service plumbing systems including PEX and Schedule 40/80
  • Support proper water flow, drainage, and overall system performance
  • Diagnose and repair LP gas and 110V/12V electrical systems
  • Minimize downtime through accurate troubleshooting and timely repairs
  • Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
  • Identify issues early to reduce service interruptions and costly repairs
  • Drive service vehicles and tow trailers as required
  • Transport equipment safely while following DOT and company guidelines
  • Coordinate with logistics and assist with loading/unloading equipment
  • Support route efficiency and ensure equipment is properly secured and staged

 

What You’ll Need

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and service instructions
  • Valid driver’s license and DOT medical card; ability to pass DOT physical requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs regularly and perform frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and repetitive motion during 8–12 hour shifts
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, around industrial noise, LP gas systems, sanitation waste, and cleaning chemicals while wearing required PPE
  • Willingness to travel between job sites, work extended shifts, overtime, weekends, or holidays as business demands; must supply personal hand tools required for repair tasks
