Job description

Logistics & Port Operations Coordinator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Logistics & Port Operations Coordinator for a company based in Ladson, SC. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the daily movement of inbound freight between the port and manufacturing facility. 

Pay Rate 
$23.00 per hour 

Schedule and Hours 
1st shift – 7:00am until 3:30pm 

Logistics & Port Operations Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities 
• Receive daily container call-offs from the production team and coordinate container releases
• Schedule transportation providers to move containers from the port to the manufacturing facility
• Organize unloading schedules and determine whether containers should be unloaded immediately or staged for future production needs                                                                                                                                                                                                    
• Ensure all containers are unloaded and returned to the port within the designated turnaround period                                                        
• Manage schedules, calendars, and transportation timelines                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

Logistics & Port Operations Qualifications and Requirements 
• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Pervious experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, supply chain coordination, or a related field. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
