Job description

We are seeking a Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist for an ongoing locum assignment in Florence, South Carolina. This opportunity is ideal for radiologists who enjoy hands-on procedural work in a hospital setting with flexible scheduling and rotational call.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including:

  • Arteriograms
  • CT-Fluoro guided biopsies
  • Ablations and embolizations
  • Kyphoplasty
  • Gastrostomy placement
  • Pleurx catheter insertion
  • Nephrostomy tube insertion
  • Port placements (tunneled and non-tunneled)
  • Dialysis graft declots
  • Biliary drainages
    • Provide on-site procedural coverage during standard hours and evening call
    • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of procedures and patient care
    • Collaborate with hospital staff for safe and efficient patient management

Schedule & Assignment Details:

Start Date: May 10, 2026
Assignment Type: Ongoing until FTE hired
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with evening call
Credentialing: SC medical license required
Training/Modules: $500 flat rate for completion of hospital modules


Required Qualifications:

Board-Eligible in Interventional Radiology (within 5 years)
• Active South Carolina medical license
• Fellowship in Interventional Radiology required
• Experience performing hospital-based IR procedures
• Comfortable with evening call coverage
