Job description

Job Summary
Trans-Global Solutions, Inc. (TGS) is seeking a proactive Marketing Manager to coordinate first-wave marketing efforts that open doors for our Business Development team. This role focuses on building awareness, generating qualified leads, and positioning TGS as the go-to provider of customized rail and industrial solutions across Texas and the Gulf Coast.
Key priorities include promoting third-party switching services, track construction and maintenance, railcar storage, cleaning, transloading, and terminal operations, alongside major developments such as TGS Cedar Port Industrial Park (the largest master-planned, rail-and-barge-served industrial park in the U.S., spanning ~15,000 acres with extensive turn-key opportunities) and Independence Rail Terminal in Deer Park.
The Marketing Manager will create and distribute professional marketing materials, coordinate tradeshow and conference presence, and develop enough industry knowledge to effectively identify prospects and hand them off to subject matter experts for deeper technical discussions and deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the creation, production, and distribution of high-quality marketing materials (brochures, presentations, videos, case studies, flyers, and digital assets) for tradeshows, conferences, direct outreach, and ongoing business development activities.
  • Develop and execute targeted lead-generation campaigns and first-wave outreach strategies to introduce TGS's customized rail, terminal, and industrial park solutions to potential clients in manufacturing, distribution, energy, petrochemical, and logistics sectors.
  • Research and stay informed on TGS services, Cedar Port Industrial Park advantages (dual UP/BNSF rail, barge access, turn-key sites), Independence Rail Terminal capabilities, and broader market trends to qualify prospects and determine appropriate handoffs to Business Development and subject matter experts.
  • Manage TGS's digital presence (tgsgroup.com, tgscedarport.com, and related platforms), including content updates, SEO basics, and analytics to support lead generation.
  • Plan and coordinate TGS participation in industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events - including booth setup, materials preparation, and follow-up processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development team and internal experts to ensure marketing efforts align with sales pipelines and effectively highlight TGS's deep industry knowledge and tailored solutions.
  • Conduct market research on Gulf Coast rail, logistics, and industrial opportunities to identify potential clients and inform marketing strategies.
  • Track campaign and event performance, prepare reports on lead quality and ROI, and recommend adjustments to improve outreach effectiveness.
  • Support consistent branding across all TGS communications.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of marketing experience, ideally in industrial, logistics, rail, construction, or B2B professional services sectors.
  • Strong project coordination skills with experience managing the production of marketing collateral for events and sales support.
  • Ability to quickly learn complex technical services and translate them into compelling, accessible messaging for initial outreach.
  • Proficiency with marketing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CRM platforms like Salesforce, Google Analytics, or equivalents) and strong organizational/project management abilities.
  • Proficiency with social media marketing (e.g., LinkedIn, X, Facebook, etc.) and social media aggregation tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset focused on enabling the sales team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for tradeshows, site visits, and industry events (primarily Gulf Coast/Texas).
  • Prior knowledge of rail, port, or industrial development is a plus.

Location
Marketing Manager will be primarily located in TGS's Houston Office at 3444 Katy Freeway, Suite 200, Houston, TX 77007, but will be frequently required to travel other TGS offices and customer sites.
