Job description

About the role
German Car Depot is growing — and we're bringing on another top-tier Master Technician. We're relocating to a brand-new 15,000 sq. ft. facility with 15 bays in Hollywood, FL. This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely knows European vehicles and takes pride in doing the job right the first time. If you have deep experience diagnosing and repairing BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, or Volkswagen vehicles and want to work in a shop built around quality — not volume — we want to hear from you.
Compensation
High base salary + performance-based bonus. Extra pay for training and certifications.

What you'll do
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues on European vehicles—primarily BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, and VW
  • Utilize diagnostic platforms, including Autel, ISTA, XENTRY, ODIS, and Autologic to perform accurate fault diagnosis and programming
  • Perform advanced procedures: engine/transmission overhauls, suspension rebuilds, ADAS calibration, high-voltage system service, and module coding. Knowledge of PicoScope/Oscilloscope is a plus!
  • Conduct final quality control inspections and test drives before vehicle delivery
  • Communicate repair findings clearly to service advisors and, when appropriate, directly to customers
  • Document repair orders accurately and completely to support warranty claims and shop records
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bay environment in line with shop standards
What we're looking for
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Master Technician with a focus on European/German vehicles
  • ASE certifications and/or factory trainings are a plus, but not mandatory. We care about how you work, not your diplomas.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple repair orders
  • Clear communicator who can explain technical findings to non-technical service staff
  • Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Own tools required; specialty tooling provided by the shop
About German Car Depot
Welcome to a low-drama zone! GCD has been a trusted name in European automotive service in South Florida for over 30 years. We specialize exclusively in German and European luxury vehicles — BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, and Volkswagen — and our reputation is built on doing the work right, not fast. Our team is tight-knit, experienced, and takes real pride in their craft. With our move to a new 15-bay, 15,000 sq. ft. facility, we're growing intentionally and looking for people who want to grow with us. Monday through Friday schedule. No weekends.
