Porsche Service Technician โ€“ Experienced (German Brand Required)
McDaniels Porsche | Columbia, SC

McDaniels Porsche is seeking an experienced Porsche or German-brand technician to join our high-performance service team. This is an opportunity to work on one of the most respected automotive brands in the world in a modern, clean, and high-volume shop with no shortage of work.

This is not an entry-level positionโ€”weโ€™re looking for a technician who can diagnose, repair, and perform at a high level with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems
  • Utilize factory and advanced diagnostic equipment
  • Test-drive vehicles and verify repairs
  • Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding additional repairs and timelines
  • Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of technician experience (German brands strongly preferred)
  • Experience with Porsche, Audi, VW, BMW, or Mercedes-Benz
  • Porsche experience highly desired
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • ASE certifications preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and clean driving record
