Job Overview
Job Title: Warehouse Lead
Location: Pope Army Airfield, Fort Bragg, NC
This position is pending contract award.
Job Responsibilities
Trace Systems is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to support the global transport networks supporting the US Special Operations Command and mission partners. This role supports critical communications infrastructure.
  • Tracks, audits, and accounts for high-value property within government property system.
  • Manage an accurate inventory of warehouse materials and managed within government accountability system.
  • Directs the operational flow, facility safety, HAZMAT compliance, and secure shipping/receiving for a designated federal site.
  • Schedule and track inbound and outgoing shipments.
  • Pickup and stage material for shipping.
  • Able to maintain driver license in support of government furnished vehicle.
  • Recruit and train warehouse personnel.
  • Ensure materials are delivered to sites in a timely manner as per clients' criteria.
  • Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications, and costs.
  • Negotiate rates with carriers.
  • Maintain customer service logs and safety records.
  • Maintain a safe work area.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and security of IT equipment.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
  • Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to travel worldwide, including to remote or austere locations.
  • Minimum of (5) five years of field logistics experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of consumer goods industry.
  • Able to manage time effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and inventory management software.

Desired Qualification
  • Experience supporting SOCOM, CENTCOM, AFRICOM, TRANSCOM, Space Force, or other Combatant Command environments.
  • Experience supporting OCONUS operations and remote-site sustainment activities.
  • Prior military service or experience supporting DOD customers.

Education
  • A Bachelor's degree paired with 5+ years of DoD logistics experience OR a minimum of 10 years experience in lieu of a bachelors degree.
