Job description

Position: Pool Bar Attendant
Location: Hotel Victor South Beach
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Pool Attendant who will also be responsible for assisting with pool bar operations. This position ensures a clean, safe, and enjoyable pool environment while providing basic bar service and excellent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area, including chairs, tables, umbrellas, and towels
  • Monitor the pool area to ensure guest safety and compliance with pool rules
  • Distribute, collect, and organize pool towels
  • Set up, maintain, and break down the pool area daily
  • Operate the pool bar, including serving beverages according to hotel standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool bar area
  • Handle basic cash or POS transactions, following hotel procedures
  • Monitor bar inventory and notify management when restocking is needed
  • Ensure all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations are followed
  • Assist guests with general pool and bar inquiries
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues immediately
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Desk, and Maintenance as needed
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Pool Attendant, Bartender, or similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of basic bar service and beverage preparation preferred
  • Must meet legal requirements to serve alcohol
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
