Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of pools to assess their condition and identify maintenance needs.
  • Perform routine pool cleaning tasks including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing surfaces.
  • Maintain water quality by testing chemical levels and adding necessary treatments.
  • Repair and maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and lighting systems.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various maintenance tasks.
  • Document all services performed and report any issues or additional repairs needed.
  • Work an established route.
  • Clean all debris from the skimmer and pump baskets; backwash or clean the filter as needed.
  • Blowing off pool area as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for unmet customer needs.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients regarding pool care and maintenance schedules.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • A valid and clean driver's license.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification a plus.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • One to three years of experience in swimming pool cleaning or maintenance preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background and drug tests.
  • Proficient in use of smartphones and computers.
  • Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
  • Knowledge of or experience working with mechanical systems, tools or machines.
  • Knowledge of water chemistry, equipment maintenance and pool mechanics.
