We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused team member to fill a dual-role position as a Pool Attendant and Kids Club Counselor. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, promoting a safe and welcoming environment, and providing excellent guest service. This role requires flexibility to oversee pool operations by ensuring cleanliness, safety, and adherence to facility rules, while also engaging children in fun, age-appropriate activities within the Kids Club. The successful candidate will be attentive, responsible, and able to build positive relationships with guests, parents, and team members while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism.

Pool Attendant
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Greet guests courteously and assist with seating, towels, umbrellas, and general questions.
• Monitor the pool area to ensure guest safety and adherence to resort policies.
• Set up and break down the pool area, including arranging chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas.
• Clean and organize the pool deck, including collecting used towels, trash, and debris.
• Stock and maintain poolside amenities such as towels, water stations, and sunscreen (if provided).
• Sell poolside merchandise such as swimwear, sunscreen, refreshments, or branded items.
• Handle all cash and credit card transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Restock merchandise and maintain an organized and appealing display area.
• Provide basic first aid support if certified and trained (or alert lifeguard/emergency personnel).
• Report maintenance, safety, or guest issues promptly to management.
• Enforce pool rules and promote a safe, respectful environment.
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience in retail sales and basic cash handling required.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to remain calm and courteous in high-traffic guest areas.
• Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform moderate physical activity.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus.
Work Environment:
• Outdoor work in warm/hot weather.
• May involve exposure to pool chemicals, sunlight, and guests in swimwear.
• May require weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
Kids Club Counselor
Job Summary:
To assist the Kids club director in the implementation of the kids club program as needed. Workers are responsible for the protection and safety of the children in their care while also providing a positive experience.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
Assist in planning a balanced program for group.Be responsible for proper care of equipment and facilities.Maintain daily staff- parent/ guardian relations.Appropriate dress and language for working with children.Display appropriate and mature behavior, serving as a role model for the children.Provide a safe and healthy environment for the children.Flexibility is key.
Basic Qualifications & Skills
Experience working with children.Have, or be willing to obtain, CPR training. Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands including, weekends and Holidays as needed.
