Job description

The Pool Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to hotel and guests in poolside and outdoor recreation areas. This highly guest-facing position prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, takes food and beverage orders when applicable, and helps create a welcoming, relaxing, and enjoyable atmosphere for guests. The Pool Bartender serves as a key representative of the hotel's hospitality standards by delivering friendly, professional, and attentive service in a fast-paced outdoor environment. The Pool Bartender is responsible for setting up and maintaining the pool bar, preparing beverages according to established recipes and service standards, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with all alcohol service regulations. This role requires continuous interaction with guests, the ability to multitask efficiently, and frequent movement throughout the pool area, outdoor venues, storage locations, and service stations. Successful candidates possess strong customer service and communication skills, knowledge of beverage preparation, a commitment to responsible alcohol service, and the ability to work effectively while standing for extended periods in varying weather conditions.


 
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and personalized service to pool guests.

  • Set up and break down pool bar operations before and after service.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hotel operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with servers, attendants, kitchen staff, and management to ensure a seamless guest experience.

This position requires continuous and direct guest interaction throughout the workday. The Pool Bartender serves as a primary point of contact for pool guests and is responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and memorable experience through exceptional hospitality and beverage service. Must be TIPS/Alcohol certified.
