Job description

Swim Club Management Group is looking for seasonal Deck Attendants to join our growing team! Swim Club Management Group provides comprehensive pool management, staffing, and renovation services for commercial properties.
At Swim Club Management Group our purpose is to inspire and create happier and healthier moments. As a Deck Attendant, you will play a key role in supporting this mission by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming pool environment through daily facility upkeep, monitoring pool areas for cleanliness and safety concerns, ensuring equipment and amenities are in good working order, and providing friendly, responsive service to guests.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Keep the pool deck, restrooms, and surrounding areas clean and organized.
  • Sweep, mop, hose down surfaces, and wipe tables and chairs.
  • Skim the pool surface and remove debris as directed.
  • Help keep walkways clear and free of hazards.
  • Replace safety flags and signage as needed.
  • Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Hand out towels and assist guests with seating.
  • Answer guests' questions about pool rules and amenities.
  • Provide friendly and respectful customer service to all guests.
  • Support lifeguards and facility staff in maintaining pool rules.
  • Help with opening and closing tasks.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines; wear required uniform.
  • Attend required meetings or training sessions.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to work outdoors for prolonged periods.

SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS
  • Flexible availability required, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and potential overtime based on business needs.
  • Weekend and holiday availability during the summer season is essential.
  • Deck Attendants are expected to work key summer holidays and surrounding weekends, including: Memorial Day Weekend, Juneteenth, Fourth of July, and Labor Day Weekend.

LOCATION
Swim Club Management Group supports multiple pool locations throughout the area. Deck Attendants are assigned to a specific pool location for the season. Assignments are based on staffing needs, your availability, and preferred locations when possible.
