Job Description

The Pool Attendant is an essential member of the pool team, providing a warm welcome to all guests as they enter the pool area, providing towels, water, running food and assisting servers with the day to day functions of the pool operation.  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare for each shift by ensuring the section and side stations are properly set up. This includes the side stations at the pool as well as the kitchen line 

  • Towel Folding and restocking -  side stations, lounge chairs and cabanas are fully stocked, towels rolled and given to guests as needed  

  • Water is constantly provided to guests while also preparing and refilling pitchers with ice and water in the server stations 

  • Set up all pool programming and cabanas ensuring they are ready for guest arrival 

  • Perform all assigned opening side work 

  • Assist Servers to deliver food and  drinks to guests 

  • Communicate with kitchen any special order needs / Assist with food running - Prepare silverware for each course to be placed by pool server or themselves / Coordinate clearing of courses with server 

  • Assist with table maintenance, clearing and ensuring guests have what they need

  • Coordinate table/cabana/lounge chair resets - ensure all furniture is aligned, orderly and free of debris and stains

  • Perform all running side work as assigned 

  • Perform duties to close the pool area as assigned 

  • Properly maintain strict standards of cleanliness in all dining areas 

  • Properly maintain strict standards of cleanliness and organization of all service stations/areas 

  • Maintain company standards of presentation, uniform, etc. 

  •  Support the Pool Servers and the Kitchen by communicating properly 

  • Expert menu knowledge - every ingredient of every dish on the menu. 

  • Exceed guest expectations constantly

Qualifications
  • Calm, clear, organized and concise communication to all members of the team 

  • Extremely organized and maintains a clean workspace. 

  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to a variety of service settings including outdoor, event, etc. 

  • Has a proprietary interest in the success of the restaurant at all times - Is committed to the success of all teammates 

  • Speed and attention to detail 

  • Open schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays

  • Responsible Beverage certification

  • Food Handler certification & RBS or equivalent

$16.90/Hour plus Tips
