Job Summary

Eschenfelder Landscaping is seeking a hardworking and reliable Pool Construction Crew Member to join our pool construction team. This role is responsible for assisting in the installation of residential and commercial pools, including excavation, plumbing, forming, and finishing tasks. The ideal candidate thrives in outdoor environments, enjoys hands-on work, and takes pride in building high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with all phases of pool construction, including layout, excavation, framing, and finishing
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Support installation of plumbing, drainage, and pool equipment systems
  • Assist with steel tying, forming, shotcrete/gunite prep, and deck preparation
  • Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to job sites
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with crew members, foremen, and project managers
  • Perform general labor tasks such as digging, grading, trenching, and backfilling
Qualifications
  • Previous construction, landscaping, or pool installation experience preferred (but not required)
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, bending, kneeling for extended periods)
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
  • Experience in pool construction, concrete work, or underground utilities
  • Equipment operation experience (skid steer, mini excavator, etc.)
  • Basic plumbing or electrical knowledge
