Job description

Company: Aquality Construction - A high end pool, spa and water feature construction company with a focus on personal professional growth, continuing education, and building some of the most badass and advanced pools in Colorado!

Team Leader Salary: $25-$30/hr (starting) @ ±50hrs/week year round. Expected annual take home will be $70,000.00+. Ideal candidates can grow into Crew Foreman Role below.

Crew Foreman Salary: $30-$35/hr (starting) @ ±50hrs/week year round. Expected annual take home will be $80,000.00+. Ideal candidates can grow into Superintendent Role.

Master Crew Foreman Role @ $35.00+/hour. @ ±50hrs/week year round. Expected annual take home will be $90,000.00+.

Location: Broomfield, CO with travel to Cherry Hills Village, Boulder or Denver, Colorado, On-Site (Various High-End Project Locations)

Job Overview: There are two roles that can be filled, the Front-End Crew Foreman, or the Back-End (finishing) Crew Foreman. The ideal candidate for either specialization is capable of managing 1-3+ Team Members in the field, performing labor and managing smaller projects. These roles report directly to the Superintendents and Construction Manager. The Crew Foreman will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of workmanship. This position will be on-site performing all manual labor tasks with their team. This is not an office job, but the right person with exceptional leadership abilities, up-to-date knowledge on leading practices, ability to complete daily and weekly documentation, and a keen eye for quality and detail will have the opportunity to move up into managing multiple jobs over time with a hybrid on-site/office role eventually.

Front-End Crew Foreman has hands-on experience in pool construction from reading plans and initial layout, managing an excavating contractor, full-height form installation, plumbing, gravel placement & grading, schedule 40 pvc plumbing, rebar placement, coordinating with electricians and staging inspections, setting guide wires for concrete shell placement within 1/16", stripping forms etc. Bonus: Applicants with shotcrete carving, back-end, or plaster trowelling experience is a plus.

Back-End Crew Foreman has hands-on experience in pool construction from reading plans, cover encapsulation square and level layout/installation, tile, masonry, plaster prep, white goods installation flush with tile, etc. Bonus: Applicants with front-end experience, shotcrete carving, mechanical rooms/cover installation or plaster trowelling experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities: Supervision and Leadership: Manage and lead a team of laborers, subcontractors, and other on-site personnel, ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
Material and Equipment Management: Coordinate the delivery, use, and maintenance of materials, tools, and equipment, and verify that all resources are utilized efficiently.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to local building codes, safety regulations, and company safety policies. Conduct routine safety inspections and manage on-site safety protocols.
Client Interaction: Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with clients, addressing any concerns or requests promptly and communicating project progress.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, material usage, labor hours, and any deviations from project plans.

Experience Required:

5+ years of experience in concrete swimming pool or high-end construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of pool construction processes.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, motivate, and train a team with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, while adapting to the culture, standards and practices of the company.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and quality, with an eye for aesthetic finishes that meet luxury standards.
Physical Ability: Ability to perform physical tasks as required, including lifting, kneeling, and handling equipment for up to 12+ hours a day, 5 days a week.
